Valentina {13 days new} – Newborn Photography, Richmond, VA

Oh my goodness, what a princess this girl is!  Her mama came to me with the prettiest pink maternity dress a while back so its no surprise this sweetheart showed up ready to rock some girl-ness.  That tutu is perfect and can we talk about that bow!?!?!  So cute!

So, so peaceful! Look at that sweet sleeping face.  She was such a doll to work with!  And is that a smile I see.

The crown was perfect for this little sweetheart.  She is indeed such a princess. I know here mamma is spoiling her with all sorts of girlie wonder.

I love when my newborn clients join me for a maternity sessions.  It is a great opportunity to meet the parents of the newborns I have the opportunity to serve.  This family was so sweet and this mamma was so full of energy.  And they make beautiful little babies!  So thankful I got to work with this family.

Savannah {holiday} – Children’s Photography, Richmond VA

Flashback to when this sweetheart came to visit me.  I have had the joy of photographing Savannah for many years and this girl is always filled with personality.   I am so glad she came to see me this holiday season!

First, she got her sweet girli-ness on on with this pink on pink.  Look at that cutie!

Savannah has the best wardrobe and I am always excited to see what she shows up with.   I feel like that snowy backdrop was made for her adorable shawl and boots.  Seriously, that shawl and those boots!  She did not want to sit still for this one, but her mom and I…. we were persistent.  Totally worth it.

Showing off her sophisticated side, sweet smile in her sparkles for the holidays.  This girl has stunning eyes!

And last,  Christmas silliness.  And we pulled it all out for this bit of cuteness.  Yup, lets just layer chevron on top of chevron on top of stripes and see what happens.  Silly, happy Christmas moments happen and I love it!

Hope this sweetheart got all her heart desired for Christmas!

Holiday Minis – Family Photography, Richmond, VA

I was so excited to do Holiday Mini’s this year.  What could be better than letting Christmas explode all over my studio and outside spaces for a few weeks of Christmas themed pictures.   It was so great to see all my families back in their festive wear.

Wyatt is pretty excited this year.  He should be – he is going to be a big brother.   So happy for your Wyatt.

Cute little girls and such a cute couple.  That’s right Finley and Bayliegh were so delightful during their session we even squeezed in a picture of mom and dad.

This is sweet Layla and her family.  Look at that smile.  And whats not to smiles about, this beautiful little girl is going to be a Big Sister this spring.  So excited for you Layla!

I was so happy to meet this next family.  They were so kind.  And their little Henry – my goodness what a cutie!

Groups of boys are always a joy to me – reminding me of the boy filled chaos in my own home.  These guys were awesome.  Holiday cheer from Joshua, Ethan & Zachery.

Sweet, smiley Liam!  I haven’t seen this kiddo since he was a newborn.  Oh my goodness, he grew up to be such a cutie!  I think he loves that firetruck and I love these pictures!

Oh Kaison!  This kid was all style and I am pretty sure he fancies himself a bit of a model. O you see it – the matching red flannel bow-tie and shirt – I can’t even!   He was so fun  – we even got to play a little soccer in my yard.  So happy to meet this sweet family.

In the last several years I did both of these kid’s newborn pictures and they were adorable then.  It is so fun to seem them growing up.  Such sweet smiles and so much brother love!  Luke and Elena in winter wonderland.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to my first ever holiday mini sessions.  So many cute pictures.  I think they were a huge success.  Now to start planning the 2017 Holiday Minis!

Tommy {family} – Family Photography, Richmond, VA

This is Tommy.  Isn’t he adorable!  Tommy was a so curious and so sweet.

Tommy also has some exciting news!  He is going to be a big brother!  Mom brought along those super cute stockings.I love how this picture came out.

Despite a bit of rain threatening our journey, Forest Hill Park was perfect.  I love this pine tree and that pop of winter foliage.

So excited for this family.  In a few months they will be leaving Richmond to head closer to family in Pennsylvania.  They have such  a beautiful journey ahead with Tommy…. and his little sister.

Carson {4 years} – Children’s Photography – Richmond, VA

Could this sweet princess be any cuter!  She is the daughter of one of my dear friends and I always love having them in the studio.   We wanted to get in some Christmas bling and some four year old magic.  We started with Miss Carson proving she will one day be a teenager.  Getting all sweet and sassy in her boots.  I mean seriously!

Glitter dress!!?!?  Yes please!  Look at this girl.  That little curtsy is really too much.  She works it for the camera and its adorable.

Carson LOVES the Disney princesses.  Perhaps its all things Disney.  She has visited my studio as Minnie Mouse and Elsa.

This year was the year of all things Snow White.  So here she is, the sweetest little Snow I have ever seen.

Rhett & Kelso {holiday} – Family Photography, Richmond, VA

This family is close friends with our family… and they are simply wonderful people.  So our session included lots of cute smiles and then coffee in our kitchen.  And coffee and these folks, that makes me happy.  Speaking of happy….look at all this Mamma love!  Almost too much to bear!

And speaking of love… the love of brothers.  Oh its special for sure!  This picture cracks me up because it is just so real.  Little boys… always finding trouble.

I love Rhett’s sweet little faces.  His joyful smile and curious glances.  He is kinda getting his toddlin’ GQ on here.

Love these moments with Dad.  Merry Christmas Rhett & Kelso!
